DALLAS BOX'S SHORT FILM "ROTTEN"
Recently I had the pleasure of sitting down with Houston filmmaker Dallas Box. Dallas wrote the script for the short which will film after the beginning of the year. I last talked to him just about 18 months ago right about the time he was working on a short film titled "Stand" which explored bullying. This time Mr. Box is here to talk about him upcoming short film "Rotten" Rotten is a twisted, tragic love story that spirals out of control. The story picks up during a night on the town for two of the films characters where they meet the third piece of the stories puzzle. The filmmaker reveals what happens afterwards in what could be a fantasy of one of the main female characters, or is it? Could it be that this is something that actually took place. The story feels almost like a suspenseful mind game the filmmaker plays with the audience.
