But new developments threaten this architectural icon. Now a group of movie professionals and business leaders seek to turn this former home of the Houston Astros into a movie studio. I was surprised to read your confusing blog regarding the Astrodome Studio project.

You say that "new developments THREATEN this architectural icon" and then you tell us to "learn what you can do to help". Do you support this effort or are you opposed to the development of a studio in the Astrodome?

I fully support this project and Cynthia Neeley. She is the former President of Women In Film & Television (Houston chapter) and she will get things done.

This post was not from myself but from the SWAMP web site. From what I understand their are some structural issues with the building itself, that may not make coverting it cost-effective. I am not opposed the project as I think either the Astrodome or Reliant Arena would make perfect choices to finally get a major production facility up and running.
