SAG AWARDS RECAP

It was a packed house at Stag's Head Pub for the 2011 SAG Awards viewing party. The event was part of a statewide event benefitting TXMPA. Bob Boudreaux was the MC for the Houston viewing party. There were viewing party's In Dallas as well as Austin that were linked to each other via Skype. More pictures are available after the jump.

It is with great sadness that I have to report on the passing of Austin actress Maricela Ochoa Henderson. Ochoa lost her battle with breast cancer earlier today. Starting with a ABC After School Special in 1993 she has a pretty steady career in Los Angeles working on show like "Joan of Arcadia," "Missing Persons," "New York Undercover" and "ER." She also had worked in theater as well as several film before having to suspend her career in 2007.
