TXMPA CENTRAL TEXAS MIXER
You are cordially invited to this month's TXMPA Central Texas Meeting/Mixer, this Sunday 7/25 at The Highball, featuring actors Madison Burge ("Becky Sproles") and Angela Rawna ("Regina Howard") of NBC's FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS. Please join us for this fun, free industry event, and encourage your friends and colleagues to attend as well. (You can RSVP and spread the word via our Facebook page.)
This month we're teaming up with our friends at SAG to spotlight Texas talent who have beaten the odds and broken through on primetime network television. In addition, we'll be celebrating the four Emmy nominations for FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS and 15 Emmy nominations for HBO'S TEMPLE GRANDIN, as well as the start of production of ABC's MY GENERATION this month, so if you've worked on any of those please come so we can applaud you. And finally, we'll be raising a glass to our beloved FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, which wraps its fifth season this week.
This Month's Guests:
MADISON BURGE & ANGELA RAWNA
We're pleased as punch to welcome Austin-area actors MADISON BURGE and ANGELA RAWNA, who have been impressing audiences and critics alike this season on FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS (not to mention Emmy voters, who nominated the series for Best Casting this season).
Ms. Burge has earned attention and acclaim in her breakout role of Becky Sproles, one of the most remarkable and realistic teens on TV. Meanwhile, Ms. Rawna has been equal parts haunting and heartbreaking as Vince's (Michael B. Jordan's) troubled mom Regina Howard. Please join us for a conversation and Q&A with both of these fine local actors about their experience on the show.

Join the Texas Motion Picture Alliance the last Sunday of every month at the Highball where we feature conversations with industry guests spanning film, tv, commercials and video games, offering behind-the-scenes peeks at their projects along with perspectives on production in Texas.
