HB-873 PASSES, NOW AWAITS GOVERNOR'S SIGNATURE
The film incentive bill, HB 873 is now passed by Senate and on to the Governor for signature on April 23rd in Austin. Stay tuned for details about the bill signing.
FALLEN STAR - MARICELA OCHOA-HENDERSON
It is with great sadness that I have to report on the passing of Austin actress Maricela Ochoa Henderson. Ochoa lost her battle with breast cancer earlier today. Starting with a ABC After School Special in 1993 she has a pretty steady career in Los Angeles working on show like "Joan of Arcadia," "Missing Persons," "New York Undercover" and "ER." She also had worked in theater as well as several film before having to suspend her career in 2007. Ochoa leaves behind her husband, family and hundreds of friends.
