KIDS VS. ZOMBIES CROWD FUNDING CAMPAIGN

Houston filmmaker and recent Louisiana Film Prize finalist is looking for some brave soles to assist with her next project. She has 18 days to go in her campaign.

We are under attack! All of us that are being called "zombies" are now being pigeonholed as freaks. No clue as to why. We just want to be left alone. We can't help it if you smell tasty. We cannot control our groans. So what if everything we say now sounds like "Brainssss" to you? Look into our eyes - past the goo - and see us for who we really are. (...Your neighbors, friends and family!)
Now, for some reason, a bunch of young people have ganged up to round us up...and we don't even know how we got this way. None of them will talk to us. WHY DOES EVERYONE RUN FROM ME?

It is with great sadness that I have to report on the passing of Austin actress Maricela Ochoa Henderson. Ochoa lost her battle with breast cancer earlier today. Starting with a ABC After School Special in 1993 she has a pretty steady career in Los Angeles working on show like "Joan of Arcadia," "Missing Persons," "New York Undercover" and "ER." She also had worked in theater as well as several film before having to suspend her career in 2007.
