"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU" SCREENS @ AMC 30 JUNE 14, 2012


The Houston-based entertainment production companies, T-CAT Films, AMBITION Entertainment and iBELIEVE Enterprises, are currently in preparation for a June Movie Premiere at AMC 30 - Dunvale for the feature film “Because I Love You”, a crime drama that will keep you on edge. To include an Official After Party at the Drake.

The crime drama “Because I Love You” is helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Joseph A. Elmore Jr. With over 10 years in the industry, Elmore, an award winning Writer/Director began his film career as a screenwriter. His first feature was the award winning Docu-Drama "Water's Rising," released on DVD in April, 2007. Joseph followed up with the romantic comedy, “Speed Dating”, which won the 2010 audience choice award in the Pan African Film Festival.

Serving as Executive Producers are Theta Catalon, Erick Edmonds and Tonyai Palmer. They are producing the crime drama alongside Elmore and Barry Strickland.

“Because I Love You” stars “Half & Half” sitcom star -- Chico Benymon, VH1's "For the Love of Ray J" reality star -- Courtney Cameron(Jaguar), “The Great Debaters” movie star -- Donny Boaz, internet, video and magazine superstar -- Esther Baxter, Comedian & YouTube sensation “Shit Black Girls Say”-- Billy Sorrells, and Cash Money Recording Artist -- Just Brittany.

BECAUSE I LOVE YOU is the story of CREAM, a beautiful young exotic dancer torn between good and evil, internally as well as externally. On the night that she chooses a life of good over evil, the Gentlemen’s Club where she dances gets robbed and she is taken hostage by a group of wild animals. She is driven to an undisclosed location and brutalized repeatedly. Feeling like all hope is gone, it is the love of her daughter, who is waiting for her to come home that keeps her alive.

BECAUSE I LOVE YOU is a must see film that mixes action, crime and comedy up in a pot and feeds our movie going need for good old fashion, no holds barred entertainment. Most importantly BECAUSE I LOVE YOU is a love story in the greatest sense of the phrase. It is with great sadness that I have to report on the passing of Austin actress Maricela Ochoa Henderson. Ochoa lost her battle with breast cancer earlier today. Starting with a ABC After School Special in 1993 she has a pretty steady career in Los Angeles working on show like "Joan of Arcadia," "Missing Persons," "New York Undercover" and "ER." She also had worked in theater as well as several film before having to suspend her career in 2007.
