THE YA'KE SMITH FEATURE FILM "WOLF" PREMIERES @ SXSW


College Professor and filmmaker Ya'ke Smith debut feature film will screen at SXSW. Smith's short film was the award winning "Katrina's Son." His feature follows a family and how they deal with betrayal from someone they trusted and respected.

It is with great sadness that I have to report on the passing of Austin actress Maricela Ochoa Henderson. Ochoa lost her battle with breast cancer earlier today. Starting with a ABC After School Special in 1993 she has a pretty steady career in Los Angeles working on show like "Joan of Arcadia," "Missing Persons," "New York Undercover" and "ER." She also had worked in theater as well as several film before having to suspend her career in 2007.
