SWAMP PRESENTS A 48HR FILM PROJECT SCREENING TUESDAY AT THE FAIRVIEW
The Southwest Alternate Media Project presents a salon the last Tuesday of each month featuring a topic of interest to local filmmakers. The April salon will feature the Houston 48HFP. There will be a brief presenation about the project and see Highlights of the Houston 48HFP 2010 - Part 2.
The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and sleepless weekend in which you and a team make a movie—write, shoot, edit and score it—in just 48 hour...s.
On Friday night, you get a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre, all to include in your movie. 48 hours later, the movie must be complete. Then it will screen at a local theater.
Show your support of the local arts community and see what your fellow filmmakers can accomplish in a single weekend. This is also the perfect time to get answers to any 48 hour film questions you have as well as meet potential teammates for the 2011 tour.
