SWAMP ACTING WORKSHOP WITH HOLLYWOOD PRODUCER

What are the ingredients of a star-studded acting career?

Passion. Talent. Training. Even a little luck.

But the thing that really makes a career is finding a producer who believes in you.

One of Hollywood’s most respected producers is coming to Houston — and he’s looking to help people to achieve their dreams.

He’s also looking to teach actors and actresses on the rise how to take their talent, passion and training and transform it into a career.

Emmy- and Oscar-nominated writer/producer Laurence Andries will headline Join the Workshop, a two-day class for serious actors ages 16 and up. He’ll also participate in Live! Starring ... You!, a two-day class for younger, budding performers ages 8 to 15. Both classes will be offered in tandem the weekend of March 20-21 at Rice University.

It is with great sadness that I have to report on the passing of Austin actress Maricela Ochoa Henderson. Ochoa lost her battle with breast cancer earlier today.
