FIRST THURSDAY'S @ DEAN'S HFC'S THIRD FILM SLAM THIS THURSDAY



The Third Time's The Charm! Join us at Dean's on Thursday March 4th for our 3rd Short Film Slam! It's been a pleasant surprise since the debut Film Slam last December discovering budding and talented filmmakers from every point of this ginormous city that is Houston.

This raw footage is of Houston Film Commission Deputy Director Alfred Cervantes speaking to the audience of second HFC Film Slam...Unfortunately it's dark due to the low lighting in the venue.

It is with great sadness that I have to report on the passing of Austin actress Maricela Ochoa Henderson. Ochoa lost her battle with breast cancer earlier today. Starting with a ABC After School Special in 1993 she has a pretty steady career in Los Angeles working on show like "Joan of Arcadia," "Missing Persons," "New York Undercover" and "ER." She also had worked in theater as well as several film before having to suspend her career in 2007.
