Join us at Dean's on Thursday December 3rd for our first ever ShortFilm Slam! Bring your 10 minute or under short film and have itscreened with your friends and others in the filmmaker audience. Therehas to be a few Rules (see link), but it should be fun andentertaining! There is no prize but as a "Film Slam", the audience canvote with their applause or jeers...but all in good fun! The firstThursdays short film evening is always a great networking opportunityor simply a chance to get together with or meet new filmmakers andcreative people. It is with great sadness that I have to report on the passing of Austin actress Maricela Ochoa Henderson. Ochoa lost her battle with breast cancer earlier today. Starting with a ABC After School Special in 1993 she has a pretty steady career in Los Angeles working on show like "Joan of Arcadia," "Missing Persons," "New York Undercover" and "ER." She also had worked in theater as well as several film before having to suspend her career in 2007.
