48 HOUR FILM PROJECT SCREENING @ DEANS

Laura Schlecht and the 48 Hour Film Project held a screening at Dean's Credit Clothing to get the word out on the upcoming film project. The screening was for last years winner. Teams of filmmakers will have 48 hours to complete their projects the first weekend in June and will be screen the following weekend. It is with great sadness that I have to report on the passing of Austin actress Maricela Ochoa Henderson. Ochoa lost her battle with breast cancer earlier today. Starting with a ABC After School Special in 1993 she has a pretty steady career in Los Angeles working on show like "Joan of Arcadia," "Missing Persons," "New York Undercover" and "ER." She also had worked in theater as well as several film before having to suspend her career in 2007.
