2009 CINEMA AND MEDIA ARTS FESTIVAL
The Houston Cinema Arts Society (HCAS) will present a "preview" Cinema and Media Arts Festival November 20 thru 23, 2008. The featured guests, whose acclaimed and influential productions cross over boundaries of feature filmmaking, video art, and interactive new media, are emblematic of the kind of media artists HCAS will celebrate at the annual Festival.
In 2009 the Cinema And Media Arts Festival will grow to be a week long festival with concurrent events throughout Houston. Expect a wide array of live events integrating cinema, music, and performance, outdoor projections, interactive installations in galleries, and Internet designed and generated movies, as well as theatrical presentations of international films and videos.

Tickets for each of the scheduled events are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors, students and SWAMP members. Tickets can be purchased online at www.Instantseats.com or at the theater box office prior to each event. Houston Cinema Arts Society (HCAS) is a non profit organization funded in part by Jim and Franci Crane and grants from the City of Houston through the Houston Arts Alliance and Houston Convention & Entertainment Facilities Department.
